Now in its 33th year, the Markham Kinsmen started the Markham Village Music Festival in 1978. Back then, it was simply called the Markham Village Festival. Since music is such a strong component of the Festival, the name was changed to the Markham Village Music Festival in 2001. The Festival has always taken place on the third weekend of June in Markham Village. |
